The GREATEST President...

Unlike the current United States President who has around a 30% favorability rating and is arguably the weakest and most incompetent commander in chief in American history, I would like to showcase the greatest U.S. President in modern era. This would be our 40th U.S. President: Ronald Wilson Reagan.


He would have been 111 if he was still with us today. President Reagan was a great communicator, a voice representing ‘we the people’ and a key architect of modern conservatism, capitalism and constitutionalism.


In almost every discipline, Reaganomics was the opposite of the current administration’s political platform. President Reagan advocated for small business support and services, smaller government, lower taxes, less regulation, law enforcement and a strong military he called “peace through strength.”


And while we all know he cried “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!” representing the Berlin Wall (the malevolent wall was gone one year later…), President Reagan had a profound quote which should still resonate the mind of Americans in 2022: “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same.”

Suggestion: If you are ever in California and have a day of leisure, I highly recommend visiting The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. This is the repository of his presidential records, his personal accomplishments, his administrative achievements, and the burial place of the president and first lady, Nancy Reagan.


My late friend and famous O-State Cowboy T. Boone Pickens made a significant gift to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library so as to house the authentic (retired) Air Force One aircraft used during the time of our 40th President. Under a vast and impressive atrium, visitors can tour the entire plane and see where this great leader served our nation while in the air.

My prayer today is that God be with you in your 2022 journey. May he bless you, your family, your teams and your businesses as we return to some sense of normalcy after several years of the pandemic. And may this great country return to a united front of freedom, pride and liberty.
