HORSES AND HUMANITY

Sir Winston Churchill once said “There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man.” I believe this is a profoundly relevant and honest observation.

Having owned horses for nearly eight decades, I can attest that these beautiful and graceful creatures bring joy to the world. I am always touched when one of our Clydesdales 'connects' with an individual - especially a youngster or a person with disabilities. Consider a small child being up close with an animal standing 6 foot tall, weighing 2,000 lbs. with feet the size of dinner plates...but instead of fear or intimidation, the youth's eyes light up along with a joyous smile as they reach out to pat the nose of a creature twenty times their size.

As I truly enjoy visiting with friends, family, colleagues and associates through our digital vehicles, I thought I would share a 'horse and humanity' video which touched my heart.

It is a very short peace and falls under the 'The Best Things in Life....Aren't Things' antidote. I trust you will also be inspired :)
